Jinnah Airport Tightens Security: New Entry Rules After Recent Attack

-

Amid rising security concerns, the Pakistan Airports Authority has introduced strengthened safety measures at Jinnah International Airport to protect passengers and their companions.

Following a recent terrorist attack near the airport, the Vigilance Department has rolled out stricter entry and identification protocols expected to be enforced soon, according to aviation sources.

Under the new rules, passengers must present a copy of their travel ticket at the entrance, enabling on-site security agencies to confirm their identities. Each passenger can be accompanied by a maximum of four individuals.

Additionally, those picking up or dropping off travelers must carry a valid ID card to enter the premises. Entry will be restricted for those without ticket copies or verified ID, ensuring controlled access and prioritizing the safety of all travelers.

Airport authorities emphasize that these enhanced measures are designed to create a secure environment amidst heightened security alerts.
