A Twitter debate between Shireen and Iman Mazari erupted over their views on Fawad Chaudhry. Shireen Mazari tweeted, addressing Fawad, “My friend, you are not like this at all,” while Iman quickly retweeted, adding, “This is exactly how it is… because his training is from the establishment.”
The disagreement started after Fawad Chaudhry claimed that criticism against him wasn’t from PTI’s social media but from “anti-Pakistan” sources. Shireen disagreed, saying such comments promote a repressive environment and hinder freedom of speech.
Iman, however, sharply criticized Fawad, saying he hasn’t learned from the past and is still trying to please those who brought him into politics. She also accused him of distributing “patriotism certificates” due to his ties with the establishment.
