High-Profile Wedding in Karachi-Security Measures and Road Closures.

-

The wedding of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah’s daughter is set to take place today at Jinnah Ground, located near the Chief Minister’s House in Karachi (formerly known as Polo Ground).

The event will see high-profile guests, including President Asif Ali Zardari, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and several other political leaders. Due to the attendance of VVIPs and thousands of invited guests, extensive security measures have been implemented.

As part of these measures, President’s Avenue Road will be closed to traffic starting at 12 PM today. Guests will access the venue through Press Club Chowk, while separate routes will be available for VVIPs.

In connection with the heightened security, Karachi Traffic Police have announced a temporary road closure from Fawara Chowk to Khajoor Chowk on both sides. Additionally, Aiwan-e-Sadar Road will be closed to traffic from M.R. Kiyani Chowk.

Karachiites are advised to take alternate routes:

↪️Traffic from Shahrah-e-Faisal heading toward I.I. Chundrigar Road can use Din Muhammad Wafai Road via Fawara Chowk.

↪️Vehicles from Shahrah-e-Faisal can also proceed to Shaheen Complex via M.R. Kiyani Chowk.

↪️Traffic from I.I. Chundrigar Road heading toward Shahrah-e-Faisal or Saddar can divert via Shaheen Chowk to Lucky Star.
