The Move is Part of the Pink Ribbon Campaign to Raise Awareness About Breast Cancer.
Pakistan’s cricket team will step onto the field in a special pink kit for the first T20 against South Africa on October 28. This bold move is part of the Pink Ribbon campaign to raise awareness about breast cancer.

PCB Chief Operating Officer Samir Ahmed Syed confirmed that South African players and match officials will also wear pink ribbons, and even the stumps used in the match will be pink.
“This is PCB’s ongoing effort to promote public awareness about breast cancer through cricket,” Samir said. Commentators will also share live awareness messages during the game.
Additionally, the Pink Ribbon initiative will offer free screenings and check-ups at a Lahore hospital on the match day.
The T20 series between Pakistan and South Africa runs from October 28 to November 1, following a drawn Rawalpindi Test series, which ended 1-1 after South Africa’s win on Day 4.
