Pakistan Maritime Security Agency Rescues 12 Crew Members from Indian Ship

The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) successfully rescued 12 crew members from an Indian ship that had sunk during a recent operation.

The rescue took place within Pakistan’s Search and Rescue (SAR) zone after the Indian cargo vessel, MSV AL PIRANIPIR, went down. PMSA’s ships, boats, and aircraft worked together to save the 12 surviving crew members.

Details of Pakistan Maritime Security Agency’s Operation

On December 4, at around 10:20 AM, Pakistan’s Maritime Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC) received an urgent request from MRCC Mumbai (India) to assist in locating and rescuing survivors.

Thanks to prompt action and strong coordination, all 12 crew members were safely rescued, showcasing Pakistan Maritime Security Agency ’s dedication to fulfilling its international SAR responsibilities and fostering regional cooperation.
