Scientists Have Developed a Climate-Friendly Cow That Does Not Emit Gas to Save the World
According to media reports, scientists have bred a special cow that does not produce gas, meaning it does not emit methane. They believe this eco-friendly cow will play a significant role in saving the planet.
Doctors have successfully used IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) to breed this “Hilda” cow, which could help the dairy industry reduce its environmental concerns.
This cow is called the “Cool Cow.”
The cow has been created through a special fertility technique known as IVF. Scientists use a method where the genes of the female Hilda are fertilized in a laboratory, and the next generation of the herd reaches maturity eight months ahead of schedule.
By repeating this process, scientists can rapidly breed cows that produce less methane gas, making them more environmentally friendly.
Professor Richard Dewhurst stated that the birth of this special cow could mark a pivotal moment for the UK dairy industry.
