In a recent media conversation, former captain Younis Khan sharply criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and highlighted broader issues impacting cricket and Karachi.
Younis condemned the PCB for its unclear leadership and coaching decisions, suggesting that even vendors have a better sense of who should lead the team. He compared the PCB to a crow trying to imitate a swan, losing its own identity in the process.
He expressed frustration at being excluded from future plans by his coaches and questioned their ability to guide players effectively. Younis also criticized the PCB for frequent leadership changes and called for the revival of departmental cricket.
Additionally, he denounced the Sindh government for neglecting Karachi’s infrastructure and urged PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi to improve domestic cricket, despite the league’s advantages.
