In a thrilling celebration of cricketing excellence, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 Fan Choice Awards have honored the very best of the game. The spotlight shone brightly on two of Pakistan’s finest as Babar Azam was crowned Best Batsman and Shaheen Afridi clinched the Best Bowler award.
Babar Azam, with his stellar 3504 runs across nine seasons, emerged as the undisputed choice for the Best Batsman, edging out tough competition from Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan. Meanwhile, Shaheen Afridi’s dominance with the ball earned him the coveted Best Bowler Fan Choice Award.
Shaheen Shah Afridi has taken a total of 103 wickets in 71 matches in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) from 2018 to 2024, making him the third-highest wicket-taker in the tournament’s history.
Also shining at the ceremony in Lahore was Jason Roy, who bagged the PSL Individual Batting award, while Shadab Khan took home the PSLM MV Fan Choice Award, marking a memorable evening for the stars of PSL cricket.
