Guess What Kane Williamson Loves Most About Pakistan (Besides Cricket)?
Hint: It’s spicy, delicious, and goes perfectly with a crispy paratha!
New Zealand cricket ace Kane Williamson has landed in Pakistan to join Karachi Kings for PSL 10—and he’s not just here for the runs. The veteran batter is also diving into local culture and cuisine, and he’s absolutely loving it!
“I’ve had biryani quite a few times—it’s a definite favourite. And the breads here are amazing. I especially enjoy paratha, but you’ve got to be careful not to eat too much!”
he shared with a laugh on Bakhabar Savera.
Williamson, who was picked in the supplementary category during the draft, is set to make his PSL debut with Karachi Kings. He’s thrilled to play under the leadership of long-time teammate David Warner.
“Warner’s our captain, and we’ve played a lot together. I’m really looking forward to joining him and the rest of the squad,” he said.
Karachi Kings are currently three wins into the tournament and will next face Multan Sultans on May 1, followed by Lahore Qalandars (May 4), Peshawar Zalmi (May 8), and Islamabad United (May 10).
With Williamson’s arrival, the Kings have added both international star power and a certified biryani fan to their lineup!
