On Thursday, May 30, Pakistani cricket sensation Babar Azam grabbed attention by scoring three runs in the fourth T20I against England at The Oval.
Azam secured his place in cricket history as the first Pakistani player to accumulate 4,000 runs in T20I cricket, alongside India’s Virat Kohli.
Although he narrowly missed Kohli’s record for the highest runs in the T20 format by just 14 runs, Azam, with 4,023 runs in 112 T20I innings, now aims to surpass Kohli during the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.
