A stormy chapter of Bollywood’s past resurfaces, revealing a dramatic episode between two of its biggest stars.
According to Indian media, Bollywood star Salman Khan once allegedly threatened Aishwarya Rai with jumping from the 17th floor during an argument.
Reports suggest that Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai’s relationship began in 1999 on the sets of the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. However, their bond started to strain in 2001, leading to their separation in 2002 after Aishwarya accused Salman of multiple issues.
Indian media claims that their affair was mired in controversies, including an incident where Salman Khan, during a heated argument, threatened the former Miss World, Aishwarya Rai, with jumping off the 17th floor of a building.
The reports further detail a 2001 incident when Aishwarya reportedly refused to let Salman into her home, sparking a fierce altercation. Salman was seen knocking on her door while she refused to open it. In frustration, he allegedly issued the shocking threat.
Media sources also state that the fight concluded when Aishwarya allowed Salman into her house at 3 a.m., with several witnesses reportedly present during the incident.
Following the episode, Salman Khan admitted in an interview with Indian media that while the reports had some truth, they were exaggerated. He remarked, “In my opinion, if there are no fights in a relationship, there is no love.”
The Bollywood actor further added, “Aishwarya and I share a relationship, but if we don’t fight, there is no love between us.”
