Bollywood’s favorite ‘90s star Govinda may light up the screen with his charisma, but his personal life holds surprising twists. In a heartfelt revelation, his wife Sunita Ahuja shared that despite their enduring bond, the couple lives in separate homes.
In a recent interview, Sunita Ahuja disclosed that they own two homes—a bungalow and an apartment—situated opposite each other. “I live in the apartment with my children, where I also have a personal temple, while Govinda stays in the bungalow,” she explained.
She revealed the reason behind this unique arrangement, saying, “Govinda loves socializing. He is always surrounded by 12-13 people and constantly engaged in meetings, which is why we prefer to stay in the apartment.”
Reflecting on their early married life, Sunita mentioned Govinda’s fondness for sarees, adding that he would often request her to wear them and jokingly call her a “tomboy” for her usual attire.
Interestingly, Sunita also revealed that she was the one who proposed marriage to Govinda, as he was “extremely shy” about taking the first step.
