Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi has finally responded to senior Pakistani actor Javed Sheikh’s claim that he once snubbed him on set. Sheikh alleged that Hashmi ignored his greeting during their first meeting on the sets of Jannat, leading to two weeks of tension between them.
In a recent interview, Hashmi reacted to the claim, saying he doesn’t fully recall the incident but insists their relationship was always cordial.
“I was only 20 at the time, and he wasn’t my age, so we were never friends. I didn’t hang out with him, but I don’t remember ever being rude,” he explained.
He further remarked, “I don’t know why Javed sahib has held onto this for 16-17 years. To me, it’s amusing because I have no recollection of it.”
