Two Wedding Processions in Mian Channu End Without Brides Amid Disputes

-

What was meant to be a joyous occasion turned into chaos, leaving both families and onlookers shocked.

Two brides from the same family faced an unexpected twist on their wedding day in Mian Channu’s Millat Town.

According to InShort News, two wedding processions ended without the brides due to family disputes.

The first procession, arriving from Burewala, was disrupted over a disagreement about the bride’s Haq Mehr, a mandatory gift from the groom.

The groom’s family refused to meet the demand, leading to the groom returning home without his bride.

In an even more unusual development, the second procession from Ghaziabad saw the groom divorce the bride shortly after the Nikah (marriage ceremony) and leave without her.

The brides’ father, Abbas, expressed his frustration, stating, “They initially showed us a different groom and then brought someone else for the wedding.”

The situation escalated into a heated argument, requiring intervention from the City Police Station in Mian Channu. The authorities managed to defuse the tension and send both parties home.

Interestingly, both brides, who remained at home instead of leaving with their grooms, are sisters.
