Meanwhile, in Lahore, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently unveiled the renovated Gaddafi Stadium, a major milestone as Pakistan prepares to host the Champions Trophy after 29 years. Federal ministers and assembly members attended the event, highlighting the government’s commitment to upgrading sports infrastructure. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also joined the ceremony, reinforcing provincial support for the initiative.
