You won’t believe what happened on a flight from Islamabad to Karachi! Two friends were detained after making a joke about a bomb. Yeah, not the best timing. The Karachi-bound private airline was stopped on suspicion of a bomb, and passengers were offloaded from the plane and thoroughly searched.
The friends told the flight attendant that they were joking, but the Airports Security Force (ASF) didn’t take it lightly. They offloaded both of them and took them into custody. The flight was delayed for three and a half hours due to the incident.
This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. A British passenger, Aditya Verma, faced a penalty of up to $24,500 after he made a similar joke on Snapchat. He was 18 at the time and was taken into custody. Verma told the court that it was a joke in a private group setting.
So, the next time you’re on a flight, think twice before making a joke about a bomb. It’s just not worth the risk!
