The political battle in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is getting intense! The opposition alliance is now only 20 seats short of a simple majority that could end PTI’s rule in the province.
Thanks to a Supreme Court verdict, the Election Commission has restored reserved seats, boosting the opposition’s numbers from 30 to 53 — plus support from 2 independents.
Here’s the new seat count:
JUI-F: 19
PML-N: 15
PPP: 11
ANP & PTI-P: 3 each
With PTI holding 92 of the 145 total seats, the opposition now needs just 18–20 more to take over.
Opposition leaders say the clock’s ticking on PTI’s time in power, warning that this might be their last budget if they don’t fix governance and law & order fast.
