The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, in collaboration with the World Bank, has decided to renovate the homes of legendary Bollywood actors Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor.
According to Dr. Abdul Samad, the Director of Archaeology, the World Bank will provide the funding for the restoration of both homes, with an estimated cost of 200 million rupees.
Dr. Abdul Samad stated that the project will be completed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Integrated Tourism Project (KITE), and work on the project will begin in the next four months.
He mentioned that items related to the lives of Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor will be displayed in their homes.
He also added that the project will promote the cultural ties between Pakistan and India, and once the restoration is complete, the homes will be opened to the public.
