In a dramatic overnight escalation, India attempted another cross-border drone infiltration — and Pakistan shot down all 12 drones in a swift response.
DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry revealed that during the night of May 7–8, India violated Pakistani airspace yet again, targeting multiple cities. The drones were downed over Lahore, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Attock, Bahawalpur, Miano, Chhor, and near Karachi.

One drone hit a military target in Lahore, injuring four Pakistan Army soldiers and causing minor damage. Tragedy struck in Miano, where one civilian was martyred and another injured.
“As we speak, debris from the drones is being collected,” said the DG ISPR, condemning the act as open aggression.
