“Doors Shut” – Imran Khan Announces No Return for PTI Members Who Left During the Crisis

-

PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan firmly stated that those who abandoned the party during challenging times would not be welcomed back.

Speaking informally with journalists, Khan emphasized his awareness of those who left and acknowledged the loyalty of individuals who stood by the party when it mattered most.

While he refrained from naming specific individuals, Khan made it clear that those who departed will not be allowed to return. However, he offered reassurance to loyal members, affirming their continued place in the party.

Following the violent May 9 protests, several PTI leaders distanced themselves from the party after Khan’s arrest. PTI spokesperson Raoof Hasan mentioned that Imran Khan will decide on the fate of those who left after his release, adding that figures like Fawad Chaudhry currently have no place in the party.

The party’s leadership remains unafraid of anyone’s return but emphasizes the importance of the agenda driving any such move. In response, Fawad Chaudhry remarked that a few individuals have taken over the party, yet he asserted his continued membership within PTI.
