CJP Qazi Faez Isa Confronted at Islamabad Donut Shop, Ignites Social Media Debate
A recent incident involving Pakistan’s Chief Justice at a local donut shop has sparked widespread discussion about privacy and public behavior towards high-profile figures.

A video of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa, along with his wife and daughter, visiting Crusteez Donuts in Islamabad has gone viral. The video, secretly recorded by an employee, shows the staff member confronting and cursing CJP Isa, saying, “Ap Isa Faez Hain… Lanat ho Ap Pe…” (“You are Isa Faez… Shame on you”).

The incident, which reportedly took place 45 days ago, has only now gained public attention. Claims emerged on social media that the employee was abducted following the confrontation and that the shop was temporarily sealed. However, sources clarified that while Crusteez Donuts was indeed sealed for a few days, it has since reopened.
The video has triggered mixed reactions online. Some users condemned the employee’s behavior, emphasizing the need for respect towards public figures, particularly when they are with family. A user on X, Graduate Talks, commented, “What happened to CJP Qazi Faez Isa at Crusteez Donuts is not admirable… You have all the rights to disagree with him but this is not the way to register your disagreement.” Similarly, journalist Kiran Khan criticized the disrespectful behavior.
Conversely, others expressed support for the employee, encouraging people to shop at Crusteez Donuts as a show of solidarity. The shop’s Google reviews saw a surge in five-star ratings, and its items on Food Panda became popular, reflecting public backing for the staff member.
