“Protect Your Skin” – 43-Year-Old Aussie Legend Warns Youth:
Australian cricket great and former captain Michael Clarke is facing skin cancer again, a battle he knows all too well.
The 43-year-old shared on X (formerly Twitter) a photo after undergoing surgery on his nose, urging fans—especially the youth—to take skin health seriously. Clarke stressed that protecting yourself from the sun and getting regular check-ups can make all the difference.

“Skin cancer is real, especially here in Australia. Today, another part of my nose was removed. Please check your skin regularly. Prevention is always better than cure. In my case, early detection has been a lifesaver,” Clarke wrote, thanking his doctors for catching it in time.
Clarke first fought skin cancer back in 2006, and in 2019 doctors removed three non-melanoma spots from his face. Even then, he had warned young people to shield themselves from harmful rays, saying: “Another day, another spot cut from my face… please protect yourselves.”
Beyond his health battles, Clarke remains one of Australia’s most celebrated captains. Between 2004 and 2015, he played 115 Tests, 245 ODIs, and 34 T20Is, leading Australia to a World Cup victory in 2015 and a 5-0 Ashes whitewash in 2013–14.
His fighting spirit on and off the field continues to inspire, proving that true champions never stop leading—even in life’s toughest matches.
