The wait is over for cricket fans as the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11th season dates have been announced. The tournament will run from 26 March to 3 May 2026, and the auction for new teams is scheduled for 8 January 2026.
For the first time, a PSL Road Show was held in New York, USA, where PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi made key announcements about the upcoming season.
PSL 2026 Schedule and Hosting Cities
Mohsin Naqvi confirmed that PSL 11 will start on 26 March and conclude with the final on 3 May. This year, Faisalabad will host 11 matches, marking an expansion in PSL venues.
Due to an extension in bid submission, the auction for new teams has been moved to 8 January. Naqvi emphasized that the PCB is working to make PSL a global success and ensure investors benefit from the league.
PSL Road Show in New York: International Investors Engaged
Following a successful road show in England, New York hosted the first PSL Road Show in the USA to attract international investors for two new teams. The event featured top cricketers including Sultan Ali Agha, Saeed Ajmal, Abrar Ahmed, Fahim Ashraf, Saud Shakeel, Shan Masood, along with former captains Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja.
Pakistan’s ambassador to the USA, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, praised cricket as a tool for sports diplomacy and cultural exchange. Players shared their PSL experiences, highlighting its role in boosting young talent and providing international exposure.
PSL’s Vision: A World-Class League
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi shared his vision to make PSL the number one league in the world. Former captains Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja said PSL is a great platform for young Pakistani cricketers to play alongside international stars.
The Road Show also announced plans to revamp Karachi’s National Stadium and upgrade stadiums in Muzaffarabad and Hyderabad, ensuring modern facilities for the league.
