Delhi Red Fort Blast-Türkiye Slams Indian Media’s False Terror Claims

-

Türkiye has hit back hard at India’s accusations linking it to the Delhi Red Fort blast, calling the reports “false, misleading, and politically motivated.”

After the explosion in New Delhi on Monday, several Indian media outlets began blaming Türkiye, claiming the suspects received logistical and financial support from Ankara. But Türkiye’s embassy in New Delhi has strongly denied all such allegations, urging people not to believe fake news spread by Indian media.

According to Indian reports, investigators allegedly traced connections between arrested suspects and a mysterious “handler” operating from Ankara, codenamed “Ukasa” — meaning “spider” in Arabic. However, Turkish officials have dismissed these claims as baseless propaganda aimed at damaging Türkiye’s image.

Indian media also claimed that a few members of a Faridabad-based terror network visited Ankara in 2022 and later became part of a so-called “Doctor Module.” Authorities are now analyzing digital data to look for links with Pakistan — though no concrete evidence has been presented so far.

In a strong statement, the Turkish Embassy said:

“Certain Indian outlets are spreading fabricated stories accusing Türkiye of supporting terror groups. Türkiye completely rejects these lies.”

Türkiye reaffirmed its firm stance against terrorism, stating it works for peace, stability, and global security, not against any country. The embassy further appealed to the public to ignore India’s false narratives and trust verified sources instead.
