Google is taking its AI-powered app creation tool Opal global — expanding access to 15 new countries, including Pakistan, India, Japan, Brazil, and Canada. The tool lets anyone create mini web apps using just plain text prompts, no coding needed.
After its U.S. debut sparked a wave of innovative app creations, Google says the worldwide rollout is a response to “unexpectedly creative and practical” user projects.

How It Works:
Users simply describe the app they want, and Opal’s AI builds it instantly. The editor shows a visual workflow of steps — all editable — and apps can be shared publicly through Google accounts.
New Upgrades:
The latest update boosts speed and introduces smarter debugging. Users can now run each workflow step-by-step, fix issues in real time, and leverage faster parallel processing for complex apps.
With Opal’s expansion, Google joins the competitive no-code arena alongside Figma, Canva, and Replit, empowering everyday creators, teachers, and entrepreneurs to design without code.
