Two Women Held — Reportedly PTI Supporters Angry Over Aleema’s Silence
High drama unfolded outside Adiala Jail when Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, was hit with an egg during a media talk.
Aleema and her sister Uzma had arrived for the Toshakhana case hearing when suddenly, two women hurled an egg at Aleema. PTI workers immediately surrounded the culprits, and police later arrested both women.
Witnesses say the women tried to escape in their car, but angry PTI workers smashed the windows before police intervened.
Interestingly, police claim the attackers were PTI supporters themselves—upset after Aleema refused to answer their questions.
Responding to the incident, Aleema Khan said the “winds of change” were clear, adding that the anger of the people showed the country’s real direction. “The oppression faced by the founder is the same oppression faced by the nation,” she stressed.
