In a dramatic twist, NAB Rawalpindi has auctioned off three major Bahria Town properties to recover money from a court-approved plea deal. The eye-catching sale includes the Rubaish Marquee, which alone fetched Rs500 million.

Two corporate offices received conditional bids, while three more properties failed to attract serious offers and will go under the hammer again soon.
But the financial firestorm doesn’t stop there.
Federal Minister Attaullah Tarar has dropped a bombshell, revealing that the FIA has uncovered Rs1.12 billion in laundered money tied to Bahria Town. During a surprise raid, officials seized critical documents — just in time, as there were attempts to burn the evidence before it could be exposed.
Tarar didn’t hold back, questioning why records would be destroyed if there was nothing to hide.
“If there was no wrongdoing, why try to erase the proof?” — Tarar asked.
With property seizures, money laundering, and an alleged cover-up, Bahria Town finds itself at the center of one of Pakistan’s biggest corruption storms.
