ZNWR Under Fire-Brand’s Bubble Wrap Dress Sparks Outrage and Laughter

-

In the world of high fashion, where boundary-pushing designs are often the norm, Belarusian brand ZNWR has just raised the bar with its latest collection—garments made entirely of transparent bubble wrap.

Combining humor, innovation, and a touch of audacity, ZNWR’s bold move is turning heads and sparking debates across social media.

The unusual collection, first spotted by a TikTok user at the ZNWR store in Minsk’s Dana Mall, went viral almost instantly, amassing over 100,000 views. The standout pieces include a transparent dress priced at 280 Belarussian rubles ($86) and a jacket going for 380 rubles ($116).

Targeted at fashion risk-takers looking to make a statement for New Year’s Eve, the collection has ignited a whirlwind of reactions. In a viral TikTok post, the user humorously dubbed the pieces “anti-stress” clothing, referencing the familiar allure of bubble wrap popping. While some viewers cracked jokes about bursting the bubbles, others questioned if the designs were a genuine fashion statement or just a quirky experiment.

Despite the playful skepticism, ZNWR’s bubble wrap collection is no joke. It’s part of a limited-edition series, with only 20 dresses and 20 jackets available.

The brand’s Instagram describes it as a bold alternative to the usual holiday attire, offering wearers a chance to stand out with something unique and eye-catching.

With its daring designs, ZNWR is quickly earning comparisons to Balenciaga, often referred to as the “Balenciaga of Belarus” for its fearless creativity and willingness to experiment with avant-garde fashion.
