Is Your Sleep Schedule Hurting Your Heart? Here’s What You Need to Know!

-

In today’s always-on world, many of us juggle late nights and unpredictable Sleep Schedule, thinking we’re managing fine. But what if we told you that your irregular sleep habits are putting you at a 26% higher risk of heart disease?

A recent study published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health is challenging the “8-hour sleep” rule, revealing that the Sleep Schedule matters more than its duration. The study found that people who sleep at inconsistent hours daily are significantly more likely to experience heart attacks or strokes, even if they clock in 7-9 hours of rest.

In a study involving over 72,000 participants, researchers tracked sleep patterns using wearable devices. The results were clear: the more irregular your sleep, the higher the risk of fatal heart diseases. Consistency is key!

So, next time you hit snooze, think about this: your heart might just be asking for more than just sleep—it’s asking for a schedule.
