Pakistan’s Noman Ali has been recognized as the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for October 2024 following his stellar performance in Pakistan’s 2-1 Test series victory over England. The left-arm spinner took 20 wickets at an average of 13.85, playing a pivotal role in securing Pakistan’s first home Test series win since 2021.
Noman’s efforts included two crucial spells, with match figures of 11/147 and 9/130. His 8/46 in the second Test was instrumental in defending a 297-run target, and in the third Test, he also contributed valuable runs to lift Pakistan from a difficult position. Noman credited his teammates for their support in achieving the historic win.
