Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has allocated Rs1.5 billion for the repair of roads in Karachi that were damaged due to this year’s rainfall.

During a recent meeting, the CM instructed the Local Government Department to launch an investigation into roads that were either built or repaired after 2022 and have since deteriorated due to poor quality work. He emphasized that substandard construction is unacceptable and warned of strict action against those responsible.

“Roads built or repaired after 2022 that have been damaged clearly indicate poor workmanship, and those responsible must be held accountable,” said CM Murad Ali Shah.
