Sarfaraz Chakar Domki, Balochistan’s Local Government Minister, has passed away after a long battle with illness. He had been receiving treatment for lung and kidney issues at a private hospital in Karachi for the past ten days.
Domki, a prominent tribal leader and seasoned politician, was elected to the Balochistan Assembly from PB-8 Sabi on a Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) ticket. His passing has been met with widespread mourning across the province.
He will be laid to rest in his hometown of Lahri. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti expressed profound sadness at Domki’s death, acknowledging his significant contributions to the province’s political and tribal landscape. Provincial Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti also highlighted Domki’s positive impact and reliable leadership.
