Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited parliamentarians from allied parties to a dinner at the Prime Minister House this evening at 7:30 PM.
The gathering aims to discuss the current economic situation and upcoming legislative measures.
JUI-F has also been invited, though it has yet to confirm its attendance.
The dinner will provide an opportunity for the Prime Minister to seek support for proposed constitutional reforms, including increasing the number of Supreme Court judges. Recently, bills have been introduced in both the National Assembly and the Senate to address the backlog of cases by expanding the Supreme Court’s bench.
The Pakistan People’s Party has also called its legal experts, including former Senate chairman Farooq H.
Naik and other key figures, to Islamabad for a detailed review of these judicial bills. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is also traveling to Islamabad for this purpose.
