A tragic accident in Karachi’s Garden West area led to the deaths of two children and a young man after they fell into an old well.
Despite rescue efforts, all three victims succumbed to their injuries, highlighting the risks posed by neglected structures in residential areas.
The incident occurred on Sunday when Badr (8) and Talha (12) were playing near their homes and accidentally fell into the well after its lid gave way.
Local residents quickly called for help, but the dry, narrow well made the rescue operation challenging.
Although one child’s body was recovered, and the others were rescued in critical condition, they unfortunately did not survive.
