Heartbreaking Loss – More then 12 Policemen Martyred in Sadiqabad Ambush

In a shocking and tragic incident, 12 police officers were martyred in an ambush by heavily armed robbers in Rahim Yar Khan’s Tehsil Sadiqabad.

The attack has shaken the region and highlighted the severe risks faced by law enforcement personnel.

The officers were returning from duty in the Fatehpur Basti Salman area when their vehicles were ambushed. Sources report that over 15 officers were in the two vehicles, making it a large-scale, targeted attack.

District Police Officer (DPO) Imran Ahmad confirmed that the robbers struck when one of the police mobiles broke down near Fatehpur.

He also mentioned that a team from across the district has been sent to the site to assist with the investigation.

The attack resulted in multiple casualties and injuries among the officers. A district-wide team has been dispatched to manage the situation and gather further details.

The bodies of the fallen officers were transported to Sheikh Zayed Hospital.

In response to the emergency, the hospital administration canceled the leave of doctors and paramedical staff to ensure immediate medical care.

According to a police spokesman, the officers were returning from their weekly duty in the Kacha area when one of the vehicles suddenly broke down.

The attackers seized the opportunity to launch a rocket assault on the stranded vehicle.
