Government announces Rs. 9.55/litre increase in petroleum prices

The federal government has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the government has raised the price of petrol by Rs. 9.99, while high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs. 6.18.

Following the increase, the new prices, according to the Ministry of Finance, are Rs. 275.60 per liter for petrol and Rs. 283.63 per liter for high-speed diesel.

It should be noted that previously, on July 1st, the price of petrol was increased by Rs. 7.45 and diesel by Rs. 9.56.
