Pakistan Navy Showcases Firepower with Successful Missile Launch

-

The Pakistan Navy demonstrated its combat readiness by successfully launching surface-to-air FN-6 missiles through its ground-based air defense system, as announced by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday.

The event was attended by Commander Coast Vice Admiral Raja Rabnawaz, who served as the chief guest.

During the live weapon firing, the Navy’s air defense system accurately hit aerial targets, showcasing its precision and effectiveness. Vice Admiral Rabnawaz praised the troops for their performance and expressed satisfaction with the operational readiness of the Ground-Based Air Defense (GBAD) system.

“The successful firing of these surface-to-air missiles reaffirms our combat readiness and our ability to respond effectively to any threat,” said Vice Admiral Rabnawaz. He emphasized the Pakistan Navy’s preparedness to defend the nation’s maritime borders and ensure regional security.

The live demonstration in Karachi highlighted the Navy’s advanced air defense capabilities and its commitment to vigilance and preparedness. The FN-6 missiles, renowned for their accuracy and reliability, successfully engaged their targets.

Vice Admiral Rabnawaz commended the troops for their dedication and successful execution of the missile test, stressing the importance of continuous training and operational readiness.

In addition to defending Pakistan’s maritime borders, the Navy is actively contributing to regional security. In May, it deployed the warship PNS ASLAT in the Indian Ocean to safeguard merchant ships, reinforcing its role in maintaining stability in the region.
