*Health Alert: Risks of Roadside Vendor Beverages

Health Experts warne about the common practice among roadside vendors of using dirty water to make popular drinks like juices, lemonade, Imli Alo Bukhara, sugarcane juice, and ice cream falooda. This poses a serious risk to public health.

Imran Sarwar Sheikh, who leads the emergency ward, expressed concern in an interview with a private news channel. He said, “One of the main problems is that these vendors use untreated ice, which can carry harmful bacteria and other microorganisms, including E. coli.”

“These germs can cause stomach problems when people drink them,” he explained.
