Jimmy Donaldson, widely recognized as Mr Beast, has clinched the title of the most subscribed YouTuber on the platform.
On June 2, the 26-year-old content creator commemorated this remarkable achievement across his social media platforms. With over 268 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, MrBeast has set a new standard in the online entertainment realm.
Renowned for his extravagant challenges and charitable initiatives, Jimmy Donaldson has amassed a colossal following with his distinctive and captivating content.
Sharing his jubilation on his Twitter account, MrBeast expressed,
“After 6 years we have finally avenged PewDiePie.” This reference harks back to the famed Swedish YouTuber’s subscriber rivalry with T-Series, where PewDiePie fell short of surpassing the Indian music channel to claim the top spot.
In a recent discussion with Jon Youshaei, MrBeast delved into his support for PewDiePie during their competition. Reflecting on the fervent rivalry, he remarked, “I got a little ‘this country versus that country’. I don’t think Felix took it there, but it even got a little racist in the sub war before. So, I’m very cognizant of it, which is why I’m not leaning into it too hard.”
Highlighting his authentic dedication to content creation, MrBeast affirmed, “I just want to be the most subscribed-to channel. Yes, I have a lot of people helping me, but at the end of the day, I started this channel. I live and breathe this. I am a creator.”
