Two-State or No State? UN Chief Drops Truth Bomb on Israel!

“For decades, peace has been used as an excuse for inaction, not as a call to action,” – António Guterres

New York: In a fiery address at the United Nations, Secretary-General António Guterres declared that the only path to real peace in the Middle East is through a two-state solution—warning that the current crisis between Israel and Palestine is spiraling toward a point of no return.

Two-State or No State? UN Chief Drops Truth Bomb on Israel!

Calling the situation a “dangerous tipping point,” Guterres slammed decades of global inaction and hypocrisy, insisting that two independent states—Israel and Palestine, side by side, based on 1967 borders with Jerusalem as a shared capital—is the only just and lasting solution.

“Without two states, what are we left with? A system of endless occupation, apartheid, and injustice. That’s not peace—it’s a permanent war on human dignity,” he warned.

Guterres urged world leaders to move beyond meaningless statements and take bold, irreversible steps toward ending the occupation and making the two-state vision a reality.

“This is not a diplomatic puzzle. It’s a matter of political will,” he added.

The demand for an independent Palestinian state is gaining unprecedented momentum on the global stage. Countries like France and Italy have already thrown their weight behind the two-state solution, calling for urgent diplomatic progress. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia and France are jointly hosting a high-level international conference focused on reviving efforts for a peaceful settlement. The growing support reflects a shifting international consensus that the status quo is unsustainable, and that only a sovereign Palestinian state can bring lasting peace to the region.
