PM Shehbaz hailed Turkish President for his bold show of support and rock-solid solidarity with Pakistan during testing times.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has come out strongly in support of Pakistan, calling for calm and condemning aggression amid heightened regional tensions.

Addressing the Turkish Cabinet, Erdogan welcomed the ceasefire between Pakistan and India, applauding Pakistan’s patience, wisdom, and resilience. He firmly denounced the terrorist attacks in Kashmir and missile strikes on Pakistani territory, reaffirming Türkiye’s principled stance.

“I once again congratulate our Pakistani brothers,” Erdogan said, revealing that he had spoken to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif over the phone to discuss recent developments.

He urged all parties to act with restraint and avoid provocation, expressing hope that the ceasefire would lead to resolution of key issues—especially disputes over water.

Ending on a powerful note, Erdogan declared: “God willing, Türkiye will always stand shoulder to shoulder with the brotherly nation of Pakistan—in peace or peril.”
