In a stunning act of generosity, a bride from Turkey’s Batman province turned her wedding into a symbol of solidarity with the people of Palestine. Instead of keeping the gold she received, she donated it—worth around $40,000 (approximately Rs 11.2 million)—to support the oppressed in Gaza.

Remaining anonymous, the bride shared that she wanted her marriage to mark the beginning of a noble cause aimed at easing the suffering of Palestinians, particularly in Gaza.
Her hope was that her selfless act would inspire others to contribute and show compassion, especially at a time when the Palestinian people are facing extreme hardships due to ongoing Israeli aggression.
As the conflict rages on, the plight of Gaza’s residents worsens. Just this week, Israeli airstrikes claimed at least 40 lives, further deepening the tragedy.
