Tesla’s “We, Robot” event marked a significant leap in autonomous technology, as the company unveiled its highly anticipated Cybercab—a two-seater vehicle with no steering wheel or pedals.

At the Thursday event, CEO Elon Musk introduced the innovative Cybercab, which promises to redefine transportation with its fully autonomous design.

Held in Burbank, California, the exclusive showcase featured 21 Cybercabs and 50 other autonomous vehicles. Musk announced that the Cybercab would be priced under $30,000, with production expected to start before 2027.

Additionally, he revealed plans for an electric Robovan capable of seating up to 20 passengers and shared updates on Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology.

Despite previous setbacks in autonomous development, Musk reaffirmed the company’s goal of achieving

“unsupervised FSD” by next year in Texas and California. The event also included test rides, interactions with Tesla’s humanoid robot Optimus, and a lively finale with dancing robots.
