Pakistan to Provide Immediate Relief Aid to Gaza and Lebanon

-

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed authorities to urgently send two planeloads of relief supplies to Gaza and Lebanon.

During a meeting to assess relief efforts, he emphasized the need for both land and air routes to expedite aid delivery.

The Prime Minister called for enhanced coordination with Pakistan’s ambassadors in Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt to ensure that the relief goods reach those in need.

He urged citizens and expatriates to contribute generously to the PM Fund for Gaza and Lebanon, with donations directed to Account No. IBAN: PK11SBPD000000111111429.

In the briefing, it was reported that winter tents, clothing, blankets, medicines, and food items are being dispatched to assist those affected by the ongoing conflict.

The Israeli attacks and blockade have hindered relief efforts, and the government plans to support NGOs wishing to send aid to the affected regions.

The meeting was attended by several federal ministers and senior officials, who discussed strategies to facilitate the delivery of assistance.
