Patna — Political tempers boiled over in Bihar’s capital on Saturday as BJP workers and Congress supporters clashed outside the party’s state headquarters, Sadaqat Ashram, The Hindu reported. Both sides alleged injuries in the scuffle.

The BJP march, led by ministers Nitin Nabin and Sanjay Saraogi, was triggered by an incident in Darbhanga two days earlier, which they termed an “insult” to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Protesters raised slogans demanding an apology from Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders, gathering at the ashram’s locked gates.

Tensions escalated when stones were allegedly thrown from inside, prompting police to intervene and disperse BJP workers. Superintendent of Police Diksha confirmed injury complaints from both camps and assured a probe.

Soon after, Congress workers staged a counter-protest, accusing the BJP of “hooliganism.” The clash highlights the growing political heat in Bihar ahead of key elections.
