Pakistan’s internationally acclaimed mass wrestling champion Saad Rajput is on the brink of missing the 2025 World Mass Wrestling Championship in Mongolia — all because he couldn’t secure sponsorship.
Scheduled to compete on August 1st, Saad was set to represent Pakistan in the 65kg category at a global event featuring athletes from 55 countries, including India.
“I’m fully fit, prepped, and packed for Mongolia. All I need is sponsorship — without it, I may have to watch my dream slip away,” Saad shared with deep concern. “Only two days left before the event begins. If no sponsor steps in now, I’ll be forced to withdraw.”
Having already waved Pakistan’s flag proudly in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Romania, and several other nations, Saad has clinched gold, silver, and bronze medals for the country — earning the distinction of being the most internationally decorated athlete in Pakistani mass wrestling history.
Yet, despite his unmatched achievements, this champion now faces the harsh reality of missing a world-class event, not because of injury — but due to lack of support.
