People globally are celebrating Eid al-Adha, a significant occasion in the Islamic calendar known as the “feast of the sacrifice.” It honors the story of Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience to God’s command to sacrifice his son and is observed with prayers and festive gatherings. The festival aligns with the conclusion of the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca.
