WhatsApp is set to introduce a new feature aimed at streamlining the sharing of messages and media across channels on iOS.
This feature, currently being tested, allows channel owners to seamlessly forward messages, photos, videos, and GIFs from one channel to another.
According to WABetaInfo, the feature enhances the sharing process by eliminating intermediary steps. Channel owners can now directly forward updates to their channels by selecting their channel from the forwarding picker screen.
Initially announced for Android users last week, the feature is now being rolled out as part of the “WhatsApp for iOS 24.13.79 update.” It will gradually become available to all iOS users over the coming weeks.
To access this feature, users are advised to update WhatsApp regularly through the App Store or TestFlight app. This ensures they receive the latest updates and features as they become available.
