From Paper to Digital PM sets one-month deadline for govt offices to switch to paperless system

In a move aimed at modernizing the federal government, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has initiated a major push towards digitization by mandating the adoption of an “e-office” system across all federal government offices.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to improve the efficiency and transparency of official processes.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has tasked the Ministry of Information Technology and other relevant departments with making all federal government offices paperless by implementing an “e-office” system within a month to enhance efficiency and transparency in official matters.
