New System Ready for Launch , Ukraine Among the First Countries to Introduce This Service

Imagine a world where mobile phones work without traditional signals, making calls possible from the most remote corners of the Earth. Elon Musk’s SpaceX is making this a reality with the introduction of their groundbreaking ‘Direct to Cell’ satellite service. Get ready to experience a new era of mobile connectivity.

Elon Musk’s ‘Direct to Cell’-Mobile Phones Connectivity Without Signals

Elon Musk’s SpaceX has unveiled a satellite service, ‘Direct to Cell,’ allowing users to make calls from anywhere on Earth using iPhones and Android smartphones.

The standout feature of this service is that no modifications to smartphones are necessary; as long as the device supports LTE, it will work seamlessly.

This innovation is poised to transform mobile communication. Calls can now be made from regions where mobile phone use was previously impossible.

Satellites will be equipped with modems, enabling them to act like mobile towers, transmitting phone signals directly from space to smartphones.

Ukraine will be among the first nations to introduce this service. To facilitate this, Ukraine’s mobile operator Kyivstar has partnered with Starlink to roll out the Direct to Cell satellite service.

Initially, the service will offer messaging capabilities, followed by the addition of voice and data services.

In other news, Elon Musk has updated his profile on X, changing his name to Caecus Maximus and also updating his profile picture.
